From 1995 through 1998 I served on active duty in the United States Navy as a criminal defense attorney. Prior to military duty, I served as an Assistant District Attorney with the Office of the District Attorney, Atlanta Judicial Circuit. From July, 1998 until July, 2006, I served as an Assistant District Attorney with the Office of the District Attorney, Gwinnett Judicial Circuit, where I prosecuted hundreds of cases in both Superior Court and Juvenile Court. I have extensive trial experience.
I focus on the following areas of criminal defense:
- Drug cases: I have prosecuted hundreds of drug cases in Superior Court and Juvenile Court. I understand how to evaluate the evidence and reach a sound conclusion regarding the possible disposition of a case.
- Felony or Misdemeanor cases: I represent clients facing other felony charges such as crimes against persons (Aggravated Assault, Simple Battery, and Robbery) or crimes against property (theft by taking, theft by receiving stolen property, and burglary).
- Juvenile Court: I have prosecuted hundred of cases in Juvenile Court. I know how the juvenile system works. I will apply my expertise, experience, and education, of the Juvenile System for you in your particular situation.
- Probation Revocations: I have prosecuted hundred of cases in Superior Court and Juvenile Court and I understand how the process works.

I have several years experience as a former prosecutor. From 1990 until 1995, I served as an Assistant District Attorney with the Office of the District Attorney, Atlanta Judicial Circuit. From 1995 until 1998, I served as a defense attorney and prosecutor while on active duty in the United States Navy. From July, 1998 until July, 2006, I served as an Assistant District Attorney with the Office of the District Attorney, Gwinnett Judicial Circuit. I understand how the criminal justice system works and I will use my knowledge to your advantage. I have extensive litigation experience in both Superior Court and Juvenile Court.
