Experienced Trial Attorney

I have extensive experience in the criminal justice system first as a prosecutor from 1990 until 1995.  From 1995 until 1998 I worked as a criminal defense attorney in the United States Navy.  From 1998 until 2006, I served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Gwinnett Judicial Circuit handling hundreds of felony drug charges in Superior Court.

Drug Possession and Trafficking:

As a criminal defense attorney with extensive experience in drug cases in Superior Court, I understand how the process operates when it comes to defending your rights and protecting your interests.  As a former prosecutor, I am familiar with how your case will proceed through the criminal justice system and will be able to explain each step of the process.   I will utilize my experience and exposure of the criminal justice system to explain to you when I believe it is in your best interest to proceed to trial or to proceed with plea negotiations to work out a plea deal.   I am committed to each client and I will work hard to achieve the best results for each client.

A mere charge of simple possession can have a major impact on your future.  If you have been charged with a felony drug charge, you need to consult with an attorney immediately.  To arrange for a free initial consultation, please contact Greg McKeithen, Attorney at Law, at 770-377-6906.

Consult with Legal Counsel before speaking with the Police

If you are in police custody, and they informed you of your Miranda rights, you must exercise your right to remain silent and first speak with an experienced criminal defense attorney.
